Sandy is 90 today. That would be 90 going on 19 I guess. Around here he will always be Pick of the Crop and Best in Show. Here’s wishing Sandy many, many happy returns.

Alexander Laird Inkster was my mentor, without him I would never have attempted Universitity, I received my degree in forestry in 1994. He was an extremely funny personage and never forgot his child like side. He was the first person in my life that ever took time to know me, at 18 I was a very troubled young man, he took me to Loch Builg Ballater, I learned to fish and be at peace, we had long talks together about life the Universe and everything, he had so many funny stories, and I laughed until I cried, such a special soul he was, I think of him often. Thank you Mr. Inkster Sir for our time together. Every morning I would meet up at work I had to say: Good morning Mr. Inkster Sir and salute, a new fun day would begin.
