This is an ambitious project, scheduled over 4 phases of development. Phase 1 is now completed and involves the provision of a car parking area, drainage improvements and the creation of 6 raised beds. The beds are of differing heights and widths to facilitate access and working by gardeners with a variety of disabilities. Generous paths surround each bed to provide better access.
When completed the project will support a diverse community of gardeners from the wider community with disabilities and special needs who will be supported by RGU staff and GFAA members.
In the past, the raised beds were put to use by a number of community groups and individuals, including pupils from Kaimhill Primary School.
