There was a real buzz about the site this Thursday morning.  It was with great pleasure that we welcomed 60 kids, parent-helpers and staff from Kingswells Primary School.

Thanks go to Stuart, Peter, Gill D, Gill E, Phil and Ron who acted as guides on the day. The kids declared that they had learned a lot and enjoyed themselves on what they said was, “the best trip out – ever”.

The visit was part of a project the pupils in Primary 3 are doing on growing and cooking food. We had thought of asking Nick Nairn to do a cooking demo, but instead, Stuart agreed to step in with his (now famous) Soup from a Stone demonstration.

I hear Stuart is now taking bookings for Kids’ Parties, BBQs and the like.

I think we can safely say everyone had a great time!  Thanks too go to Anne (Plot 33) for setting it all up.
