I think there have been more bees, too, and more kinds of bee – not more bumblebees, but other bees.
Apart from chives in your pic, the other flowers on my plot that they really seem to love are asparagus (where the flowers are so tiny they are almost invisible) and borage (which is worth growing just for the bees, but the flowers also add colour to a salad).
